Video: Governor Christie Event Features Blowing of the Shofar
At an event Tuesday morning at Rutgers University’s Chabad House in New Brunswick, Governor Chrsitie was introduced with the blowing of a shofar, as is the custom in the month of Elul.
Rabbi Mendy Carlebach, administrator of the Chabad House, who introduced the governor to address the Iran nuclear deal, took out a Shofar and blew a condensed version of the full sequence blown on Rosh Hashanah for some 30 seconds.
